■ 金融总部“集聚区”
农历春节前，首家进入湖北市场的全国性股份制商业银行——招商银行武汉分行正式迁入新大楼。迁址后，该银行继续植根江汉，助推该区打造金融总部集聚区。
江汉以金融立区，为湖北省唯一的“金融业集聚发展示范园区”。以新华路——建设大道“金十字”为核心的武汉金融街，凝聚区域金融中心的核心力量：拥有7家全国性金融机构总部，占全市50%；拥有65家区域性金融机构总部，占全市38.01%。
2020年江汉区完成金融业增加值339.18亿元，实现金融业税收74.46亿元。无论是金融市场主体规模，还是金融财政密度，江汉区均为全省最优。
■ 商贸流通“领航员”
牛年春节，提升改造后的江汉路步行街人头攒动，流光溢彩，客流达到98.3万人次，营业额达3.66亿元，同比增加12.6%。
居“城市之心”，江汉当仁不让成为武汉的“商贸航母”，立足江汉路商圈、武商商圈，突出多元消费体验，深挖多个商业体扎推联动的成功经验，擦亮“武汉购物”名片。
以区域总部为龙头、以石油能源板块的区域性分支机构为核心，江汉集聚中石化、中石油、中海油、中航油、中化石油、延长石油、壳牌能源等石油巨头分支机构近40家。
■ 全域创新“策源地”
围绕金融和消费领域，以数字产业为重点发展方向，谋划5G人工智能、区块链等产业发展，江汉区正形成全域创新发展新格局，构建国家科技创新中心“策源地”。
通讯信息，江汉区的支柱产业之一。以“数字产业化、产业数字化”为主线，夯实数字经济产业基础，江汉区正加快推动5G、区块链、云计算、大数据和人工智能等数字产业集聚、技术创新和场景应用，构建数字经济产业创新发展生态。
打造一批“创新楼宇”，构建数个“创新街区”，并结合武汉中央商务区、“江汉创谷”（江汉经济开发区），江汉将加快建设科技创新活力区、科技总部集聚区、科技创新示范区，实现全域创新发展。
到2025年，江汉区力争高新技术企业达到500家，数字经济场景应用项目发布达100个。
■ 国际交往“新门户”
1861年汉口开埠，武汉海关、招商局等相继入驻；改革开放后，美、法、韩三国领事馆，以及荷兰、澳大利亚、加拿大、香港驻汉办事处等机构相继落户江汉。
武汉时装周连续举办9届，“金顶奖”（中国服装设计最高奖）设计大师以时尚语言，向世界讲述武汉故事。
以非遗文化、汉剧文化、汉绣艺术为载体，以汉剧院、武汉博物馆等为支撑，让“汉派”文化走上国际舞台。
