Intensive Chinese Language Training Programs
The School of International Education of UIBE takes the lead in China to launch the Chinese language training program, "Intensive Chinese", which is elaborately designed for the students who hope to improve their Chinese proficiency rapidly in a short amount of time.
1. Training Objective:
With the high intensive training, scientific curriculum, and flexible supplementary means after class, students can make great progress in their ability to listen, to speak, to read and to write in Chinese.
2. Teaching Method:
To let student study both in ordinary and tutorial classes, to combine collectivization teaching with individualized teaching, to give classroom instruction with extracurricular practice (debate, internship, speaking competition, visit, etc.)
3. Course offered:
The program lasts 16 weeks in one semester, and classes are held for 30 hours each week. Compulsory courses are Comprehensive Intensive Course (ordinary class) and Intensive Exercise (tutorial class).Selected courses include Discuss on Social Hot Topic, Business Newspapers Reading, Commercial Conversation, Training Course for HSK Test, etc. In addition, the appointed teachers instruct students to review and preview their study for 2 hours every day.

Spring semester: March 1-July 15
Fall semester: September 1-January 15

7. Tuition and Fees
1) Application fee: RMB 660
2) Tuition:Tuition fee of Intensive Chinese is RMB 19800 and RMB 18800 for
each subsequent semester.
8. Documents Required for Application
1) UIBE application form
2) A copy of High School diploma and transcripts
3) Letter of guardian and a copy of guardian's passport or ID
4) A copy of passport or other identification
9. Admission
When applicants turn in a completed application package, they are also required to submit an advance payment of RMB 2000, which will be accounted as a part of tuition amount after registration. The School of International Education will then issue the Admission Notice and Visa Application Form (JW202) to every newly accepted candidate.
The candidate can apply for a student visa at the Chinese embassy or Consulate in his/her home country, and must register, pay the tuition fees and buy the insurance on the date stated on the Admission Notice.
