1．Basic Application Requirements
High school graduation, Good health, Proficiency in Chinese
( Applicant whose age is under 18 needs to submit notarial certificate of guardianship)
2．Documents Required for Application
1) UIBE Application Form
2) A copy of highest graduation certificate and transcripts
3) Letter of guardianship and a copy of guardian's passport or ID
4) A copy of Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) results (scoring at Elementary Level C or higher) for programs offered in Chinese
5) A copy of passport or other identification
6) Two passport size photographs
7) University’s entrance examination of undergraduate studies is held in June annually.

4 . Entrance Examination
1) Time and Place: in June each year at UIBE
2) Content of Test: Chinese Language (listening and written exam), Assessment Exam (including English, math and basic aptitudes in Chinese history and culture)
and Interview
5 . Tuition fees
1) Application fee: RMB 660
2) Tuition: RMB 23200 per year for Chinese Language and Literature RMB 24800 per year for the other majors in Chinese
Tuition must be paid in full at registration for the first academic year, and in the following years it is paid by semester.
6 . Admission
Those who have passed the examinations will receive an official notice of acceptance after the tests from UIBE. To secure the study place, applicants must submit an advance payment of RMB 4000, which will be accounted as a part of tuition upon registration.
UIBE helps the newly accepted students apply a study visa to China by issuing JW202 form (Visa Application Form) or extend the duration date of Beijing Resident Permit of those who are staying in Beijing. UIBE will not return the application materials to candidate not matter of acceptance or not.
Newly accepted student is required to register on the certain date stated on the Admission Notice and pay the tuition and buy insurance on the same date.
